Meet The Doctors

Chiropractor Ali M. Jafari D.C.

Chiropractor Cheektowaga NY Ali JafariI am of middle eastern decent and raised in a mid-western town in Iowa. I was always intrigued by health care and wellness. I attended West Marshall High School in Iowa and finished my final 2 years and graduated from Grover Cleveland High School. I graduated from Buffalo State College as a Biology major and continued to Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1980.

Before I began practicing in New York, I practiced in Erie PA in 1981 and 1982.
I associated with Dr. Przybyla from 1982-1984 and opened my sole practice at 711 Borden Ave in Cheektowaga after that.

I took a great deal of interest in my community when I became a volunteer fireman and EMT at Southline Fire Company. I am also a captain in the New York State Guard since 3/15/2003 and a CPR instructor at the American Heart Association.

I became a chiropractor because I love the idea of helping people achieve good health naturally, without drugs or surgery. I have a personal drive to help people and make a difference and truly enjoy meeting and spending time with people.

Chiropractor Cheektowaga NY Alexandra Brotz

I grew up in a small town in Buffalo, NY called Alden. Growing up my family was very sports oriented and it was a large part of my life, with that being said... where there are sports there are injuries. That is where my interest in the rehabilitation field began. I went to the University at Buffalo and graduated with a bachelors in exercise science. While attending UB I had two professors who were chiropractors and taught sports rehab class. They spoke about the human body as a whole unit and when one part is not functioning properly the entire body can suffer the consequences. This concept clicked in my head and made me more curious about chiropractic. After shadowing and doing a semester long internship my last year of undergrad I knew that chiropractic is what I wanted to pursue. I enrolled in New York Chiropractic College and continued my degree. Chiropractic school is very grueling and demanding but in the end is so rewarding.

My favorite part about treating patients is the happiness they feel once their pain is alleviated. Some patients come to chiropractors almost as a last resort and have no hope left for their symptoms but many times with the wide range of techniques and supplemental modalities we can give them relief. Being able to give someone who’s had pain for years relief is such a gift. Helping my patients is truly the best part.

Chiropractor Alexa Rios D.C.

Chiropractor Cheektowaga NY Alexa RiveraDr. Alexa L. Rios was born and raised in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico.

She spent her childhood and High school years there.  She finished her Bachelor’s Degree in General Science from the Pontifical Catholic University Ponce, Puerto Rico.  While she was in College she had a life-changing injury which led her to become a chiropractor. She injured her knee while performing at a track and field event (high jump).  She was so excited to see how fast her injury improved with Chiropractic, that it led her to want to help people enjoy the same benefits.

She decided to pursue her Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College where she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2018. While there she also completed her Master’s degree in Anatomy and Physiology.

While studying at NYCC, Dr. Rios had the amazing opportunity to serve at the Buffalo Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VA).  It was very special to be able to help those that had served!

She is skilled in several Chiropractic techniques including diversified, Flexion/Distraction, activator, drop table technique, sacro- occipital technique (SOT), NIMMO (soft tissue technique), SMART TOOLS,  and a certification in Whiplash Injury Biomechanics and Traumatology.

Dr. Rios is dedicated to provide the best quality and appropriate care to her patients, she educates them about the different techniques and the benefits that would help them to get better. She is very excited to join the Jafari Chiropractic a Palmercare Clinic team and serve the community.
